Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) is the leading global hedge fund and alternative investment industry association.
Founded in 1990, it is a not-for-profit global trade association whose objectives are to:

work closely with regulators and interested parties in order to promote the responsible use of alternative investments. |
AIMA has over 1,260 corporate members (comprising 5,500 individuals) in 46 countries.
The AIMA Australia Chapter was formed in 2001 and has almost 60 corporate members including hedge fund managers, investors and service providers. |
